The Festival Experience
UnBox creates a space for practitioners to learn from one another and spark new forms of social and cultural innovation. The festival blends work and play across contexts and mediums, bringing attendees together for lectures, panels, workshops, debates, brainstorms, and travel. The festival experience is designed to be completed and inspired by access to four parallel cultural festivals in the evenings and nights from 24-27 February 2011.
Fellowships
(Feb 2011–Pre-conference), for fellowship awardees
Travel to different parts of the country with multi-disciplinary teams to learn, inform and share the new contexts for social, cultural and business innovations.

Morning Session:
The UnBox conference brings together 200 practitioners, academics, and tinkerers from art, design, entrepreneurship, and other fields for intimate, cross-disciplinary reflections on bringing about cultural change.
Afternoon Session:
Afternoon workshops offer smaller, interactive sessions that let you get your hands dirty making in new ways, debating issues, getting mentorship, and picking up new tools for cultural change.

UnBox brings the spirit of cross-disciplinary cultural experimentation to the city, inviting the public to join in Make-a-thons and Open studios that show the city at work.
