About this fellowship:
This fellowship is an opportunity to work with Cell Dsgn, a leading art and fashion studio on their new collection for Autumn/Winter 2012 for the brand 11.11. Fellows will work in Kutch, Gujarat reinterpreting the traditional craft of bandhini and combining it with stylistic elements from Japanese shibori. The fellows will gain experience combining cultural and stylistic design elements and their research will happen over several villages in the Kutch region.
